Well hi! My name is LeeAnn Channell, I am in your English class! I am from a very small town in Ohio, it goes by Trenton and I wouldn't be surprised if you have never heard of it. I chose to come to Ohio State because I wanted to get the full college experience, at least by my book. I knew this would be a diverse campus, and I am so ready to meet people from different backgrounds and cultures. Let's face it, everyone I know has a gun under his bed for hunting and a closet full of camo. Yes, I needed to get away from Trenton. As you can clearly see, I tend to ramble.
I feel as though I am an outgoing and friendly person. I haven't met anyone here that I haven't liked meeting and getting to know. I seem to have so much in common with everyone, and this is something I didn't expect ( People really do have more in common than not). I have learned in the past year that I tend to tell people the truth even if they don't want to hear it, but only if they ask. I am a procrastinator, as much as I have been denying it for years, I know it is true. I love football and OSU is my favorite team. I have grown up around the sport my entire life, my father is a high school coach. I haven't missed a Friday night game since I was born, until now. . . .
Hey LeeAnn, I agree with you that OSU is an extremely diverse campus and there are a lot of people to meet. It was also a big part in my college dicision also. I love going to a big college because there is always something to do, and people to meet. Aloso i'm used to going to big schools considering my high school graduating class was about 900 kids. I'm just happy to be here.
ReplyDelete900 people!? Thats huge considering mine was about 286 people. But yeah i was so ready to get out and meet knew people instead of the ones in my home town. To an extent they were all the same and your considered "lucky" to get out. That's another reason as to why I chose OSU.
