Ok.. so I live in the middle of nowhere and my internet sucks something awful. I had to come home for the weekend, so I have been sitting here for the past 2 hours trying to get this scifi video “Firefly” to load onto my computer. As you can guess it’s not working and it proceeded to completely freeze my laptop. We recently graduated form dial-up to high speed wireless (which isn’t any better at all… still super slow). We live so far out away from civilization that no Internet providers were available. This detail escaped me as I settled in to download this episode and begin day 2 of my blogg. Frustration quickly escalated until I have had to resort to blogging about not being able to watch this show which I’m sure was very interesting from reading all of your bloggs.
My past experiences with scifi are limited. This in not a genre that I would normally choose to watch at my leisure. I do not like Star Wars, I do not like Star Trek, I do not like The Twilight Zone; the only thing that I truly enjoy that is anywhere close to any of these is Twilight. I think its probably the romance side of that story that I like the most (Even though Edward and Jacob are pretty easy on the eyes). Please be looking for my opinion on this episode of “Firefly” when I get back to campus tomorrow morning when I have access to a faster Internet. Thanks!
